Barefoot in the Park.

Okay, okay, here's the plug for the show I'm (ahem) starring in. Or co-starring in, to be fair to the lovely and talented Maria Kovac.

Barefoot in the Park opens on Friday at the Village Theatre at Cherry Hill, Canton, MI. It will be several kinds of hilarious, including (but not limited to) the best kind and the almost-as-good-as-the-best kind. How can you say no? I mean, let's be realistic here: you can't, not even if you live elsewhere in the country, or are some kind of Republican.

We had a great final dress rehearsal and photo run, and I think the show's in good shape. If you've ever wanted to see me attempt to pull my mother-in-law (my fake one, as I am thus far unwed) over the back of a sofa by the legs, trust that your desire will not go unfulfilled. And even if you haven't, it will still (hopefully) be quite funny, charming, and/or enlightening.

At some point, I'll write about the rehearsal process, and maybe even post a thing I wrote about the problems inherent in doing a TV spot to promote the play (Maria and I went on the Channel 7 morning news broadcast last Sunday). However, at the moment, I need to get some shuteye. Hope all are well, and have not given up on the Reactionary Meter just 'cause we've been too busy to post much, recently.
